Parrot Flower Power: The Smart Sensor Nurturing Over Your Plants!

Have you ever dreamed of receiving expert advice on growing tomato plants or other vegetables on a balcony, citrus in a living room, or gerbera daisies in a garden? Now your dream can become true. Today from the Internet of Things, we bring you an incredible sensor that assesses your plants' needs and sends alerts to your smartphone.

With Flower Power, Anyone Can Have A Green Thumb

Parrot Flower Power is a sensor that when “planted” close to a plant in a pot or in open ground provides real-time measurements of the factors essential for healthy growth and then sends updates to the free app. It precisely measures critical parameters like soil moisture, fertilizer, ambient temperature, and light intensity. Parrot Flower Power uses advanced sensor technologies to monitor the plants' welfare through a range of parameters, and in doing so takes care of the vital needs of your plants. The four sensors gather data every 15 minutes by which users are able to understand the precise requirements of their plants.

A Dedicated App

You can download the Parrot Flower Power App on your Android smartphone, iPhone, or tablet. It performs several functions:

  • Garden - Monitor Multiple Plants At The Same Time: Track the status of multiple flower power sensors and the health of your whole garden with the power app.

  • Water & Fertilizer: Now you can monitor the moisture level in the soil surrounding your plant as well as track it over time, allowing you to plan for regular watering. You will be able to plan when to add plant food to your scheduled watering by also tracking the fertilizer.

  • Alerts: When the water, heat, light, or fertilizer levels of your plants are in need of special attention, the Parrot Flower Power App will create an alert to tell you what needs to be done.

  • "To Do" List: As well as monitoring the status of different plants, the Parrot Flower Power App will create a "To Do" list based on current alerts and the predicted status of your plants over the next few days.

  • Heat & Light: The Parrot Flower Power App will give you a chart of the temperature levels in the soil of your plant and compare it with the ideal levels for your chosen plant species. The Parrot Flower Power sensor also keeps track of the amount of light your plant is receiving and will warn you when conditions are too shady or too bright.

  • Planning Ahead: If all the levels are currently good, the Parrot Flower Power App can help you plan ahead for when you need to water or feed your plants.

Bluetooth Smart & Real Time Monitoring Of Multiple Plants

When you are near your Flower Power, you can use Live mode to check the light intensity, ambient temperature and soil humidity. The Parrot Flower Power is part of a new generation of devices embedding Bluetooth low energy technology which allows it to communicate with Bluetooth Smart Ready devices. Bluetooth Low Energy, integrated into the most recent Bluetooth version (v4.0), is the latest wireless technological standard which consumes very little energy and is therefore eco-friendly.
